You will be surprised at how quickly you will be able to read an ECG and identify a heart rhythm, a cardiac arrhythmia, or a heart attack and you will even be able to go further, learning about the management of each of these medical emergencies identified on an ECG.
Your classes will go beyond diagnosing an electrocardiographic alteration. You will learn about the initial management of these medical conditions.
In your tutoring you can learn, for example, the analysis of waves and intervals in an ECG, how to calculate the HR in regular and irregular rhythms, the various cardiac rhythms (normal sinus, sinus brady-, sinus tachy, wandering atrial pacemaker, atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, poly- and monomorphic V-tach, Idioventricular rhythm, etc), electrocardiographic changes during an Acute Coronary Syndrome, the meaning of each lead and the heart axes, some Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) subjects related to heart rhythms and much more.
You can learn the management of each cardiac rhythm, including medications and other treatments for situations such as tachy- and bradyarrhythmias or how to identify and treat the cardiac arrest rhythms, for example.
